Yes! All the sourced ropes are thoroughly cleaned in order to shine with their best looks. Some of the ropes do have signs of wear and tear like freying or discolouration - this is however more of the patina of time and if anything adds to visual complexity of the rug.

Rope rugs can be cleaned in the same way as other rugs at your home. Putting them in a washing machine is acceptable (especially for tightly woven pattern), but make sure you are using the minimal spin cycle. When in doubt, drop me a message.

It can be, especially for big patterns! Don’t get discourages though and start with the small workshop. It is also possible to weave one rug as 2 people - a couple, co-workers, friends, you name it! - if that is a case, you can contact me for a discount code.
